In the midwest, two of the best places to be is the Detroit Autorama (unfortunately, this just took place at the begining of the month) and the Woodward Dream Cruise.

At the Detroit Autorama, they had a complete area set up for custom stripers and airbrush artists. I'm hoping they keep this as part of the show.

As for the Dream Cruise, there will be approximately 2 million people and 40,000 cars. There are displays throughout the entire 20 mile strip from Detroit to Pontiac, MI. You might want to check with the organizers on the best location to set up shop. I believe this year it's August 21st. Come join the crowd.

Another couple thoughts would be the Grand National Roadster Show in LA in January would be a good place, as well as the Good Guys National in Louisville, KY this summer.

Good luck with the business. Unfortunately, I'm two or three years from paint .
