Yeah, first time out for the year is always the best!!! Now I like to roam around the pits and see which of the other old farts lived through another winter!!!!!!

The car I drove was a '67 Comet (557" Ford on ethanol) that I built for a friend of mine about 15 years ago......A couple of young guys bought it last winter and asked me to come out and set the chassis for them, guess it still works!!!! I was thrilled with the light, though not too many years ago I would have been kicking myself in the butt for being slow!!!!! They'll be running Super Comp with the car, did a twist on the throttle stop and the new (proud) owner laid down a 7.90 with a 6, then backed it up with a 7.90 with a 2----Needless to say we all went home happy!!!!!!
