I don't use nitrous, but I do know of a couple guys running nitrous that are using the ZG 2nd ring on forged pistons,,,, Haven't really noticed either of them having any particular problem with them.... I got started with them years ago in a 302, liked them, later put them in a big block Ford and had nothing but grief with them...Took them out after about 10 passes. Used them on all the SBF's since for racing and hot street cars. Now, going to run them on the street in a cruizer.... Guess will just do the block setup and hone like the race engines.....

We put the low tension oil rings in the 501 this winter, ask me in a couple months how I like them....
