Sometimes I can't even remember what I ate yesterday.

So basically, you guys are telling me I have 1 of 2 options.

    1) Spend megabucks on an aftermarket block (on top of all the cash I have to lay out for the blower and so on)

    OR

    2) Just give up on my idea on having a streetable 302 with a 6-71 on it.

#@%^$!!!!!! Why can't these things work out for me? Guess I'll just have to build the stupid thing up for twin turbos instead. I hate cookie-cutter engines. I just want something different that will be reliable AND melt the tires when I feel like it. Single carbed and EFI engines just aren't my thing. And I don't want to have to change my car to be able to fit a larger (351W) engine in it. No offense guys, I really do appreciate your input, but from the sounds of things, it seems like I'm trying to catch a unicorn here.

Its funny when you start a project you never really have any idea how much it will cost in the end. With all the stuuf you want to do with the 302, it's gonna cost you anyway. Money up front will be worth tons down the road, I'm looking at two grand just to spruce up an old 460, if I'm lucky. learn from these guys, they've been there!

I am afraid the twin-turbo idea will cause problems also.
    Don't give up yet.
Like someone else said you can always buy a used Dart/race block.
Like someone here says it is going to take longer and cost more.
