No it would not be out of spite but since I have 6 other ford products the chevy is the bastard in the fleet and it would make sense to power it like the rest so I could use the spare parts in stock,its probably why some use chevy motors in their vehicles. When it gets the suspension upgrade this winter it will have a ford bolt pattern so I can switch wheels between my vehicles,I like the stovebolt sixes but if something should happen to it I have a extra 302 roller cam shortblock in the garage that would be cheaper to go through then the 235 plus there are no sbc or bbc parts anywhere on my property. I think this thread is getting hyjacked so this will be my last response other then to what was asked in the first place
