How much is to much?
For the purpose of stabilizing the bottom of the cylinders, how much block fill can i get away with in the water jackets of a 351W and still have decent cooling for the street????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

depends how much extra you plan on doing to the cooling system.... i've gone about half way up and had no problems............ but i also put a lot into the cooling system..... i know block fill is a cheap way to stabalize the block.... but have you considered 4 bolt mains and a girdle? it cost a bit more..... but it definately helpsjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

I will run splayed mains, but the bottom of the block still tends to move around a bit.... Just wanting to tie the cylinders and webbing together a bit tighter.....

Thanks Pat. This is for a Windsor. Just came up with an Enderle front cover, now it's time to start planning a cooling system to go with it.....

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
