Yep, I think you are right, SAE is what it should be. I just ran into this on the tranny mount for the T. The bolts were metric, so I picked up some 10mm bolts, but they wouldn't go in. I found out there are different thread counts, 100. 125. and 150...........i needed the 150's.
I'm so glad we didn't convert completely to the metric system.........it's tough enough as it is.

i dunno i prefer it one way or the other sometimes..... its a pain when you're working on a car in the shop and half of everything is SAE and the other half is metric..... they've changed that a lot since the 80s to early 90s, now its all metric, at least its a little less confusing that wayjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
