hahaha i think it has to do with the tappets aka lifters have a flat bottom hence the name flat tappet cam....(but even then they aren't truly flat seeing that they have a somewhat concave bottom but i guess the people that named it that were not engineers
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
