    yup, very common on the old motorcraft/fomoco carbs.... they're not really the best choice on carb there, they tend to have a lot of issues.... a lot of people switched to aftermarket carbs when they bought the cars just because of the problems

    yea, ive heard of a lot of people who have had the same problem with these carbs. ill check the float, that may be the problem.Thanks,Mike
