yeah, I tried just about everything that you listed. I'm turning it over with the distributor out and with a drill. I also thought that it was sucking air around the oil pump or that I had a bad pump so I bought another pump and now when I cranck up the drill you can feel it pumping before that it was hard to tell. As far as the oil galley plugs in back I was told that if they are missing that when you turn the pump the oil runs down the back of the motor, if that's true then there's no problem back there. I know that there is oil galley plugs in front and I guess that my next plan of attack. I'm hoping that it's not the cam bearings because alot of people have told me that may be the problem. I think I'll try priming and turning the motor over like you said, because at this point I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Thank's for the advice.
