I might be wrong and I can't find the 360 piston compression height in my books. (they don't include truck engines) but I remember that one time seeing in parts books that the 410 Merc motor and the 360 had the same compression height.

Since 410s and 428s had the same compression height you could use standard passenger car 428 pistons for a low compression 360 with a 4.13 bore (.080 over).

The reasoning behind this is that the 360 used the 352 rods, which are longer and make up for the shorter stroke, piston compression height difference.
