If you're going with the 390 and that intake setup (although i would suggest a 650-700), if you do an over bore, I forget the exact specs you can overbore a 390, but I believe you can go .60 over, essentially turning it into a 412 or something like that. Overbore, electronic ignition (always better than points), your current intake setup, good valve job, headers, and you should be there, or close enough.
