You know anything is possible but it takes alot of torque to get that thing rolling.
Then when you do get it up to speed it takes alot of HP to push the wind that thing will be pushing. You would have to build one monster of a motor to beat that fox body.
Buy your self a cheap fox body then gut the thing put in a 302 clever motor or a stroked 302 with some gears and you'll beat big mouth. He knows your heavy thats why he's running his mouth. If he has gutted his car you could be as much as 2,000 pounds heavier then him. I know I have a 70 Ford sport cab and that thing is a tank.
I am building a 65 Ranchero for drag racing right now with a well built 351 Cleveland.
Why the Ranchero??? because it only weighs about 2,000 pounds.
It's all about that weight.
