Yes, the parts would be effective with your combination. The camshaft, although not my personal 1st choice for a D3VE-to-D0VE head swap, will offer greater power than the oem 460 camshaft, especially with the portwork. Yes, it will have a slight lope at idle.

Either cam: oem stock replacement vavle springs will work; springs with 100-110 pounds on the seat (with a similar rate of rise) would be better.
