    The engine is sitting in the chassis, no wiring as of yet, external coil, external ingnition module.

    OK...everything is wired up correctly (I think anyway), but it wont crank. I have tested the solenoid and it all seems to work. I have even connected the starter pos + directly to the battery, but still nothing. I am used to working with chevys so I am a little lost on the blue ovals. Shouldnt the starter spin if it is grounded and the + is connected to 12v? I would think this simple test would turn the starter, but all is quiet on the western front...
