Acually, if all of them are specified for this engine, It would all seem to be compatabe, except maybe for the intake and carb. Ive seen a few holldey intakes not like other carbs, but that can be cured with a spacer. Now, for my next question, who bought this stuff? They seemed to have taste. I would have swapped a few things over, but its a nice little ensemble you have there. If you do well, and the engine isnt fried, 300 is possible.

For your cam it depends on your lift and dururation and grind, just check the specs and post them, i can tell you if its going to idle rough or idle at all or idle smooth or whatever idle there is possible.Your carb will bolt right to the intake, holly and carter are virtually the same carb and they are interchangeble between the two

Holy crap, your right. What would happen f he shaved .20 off the heads, that would put him in the 65-60cc range-right? and that should be fairly cheap.

Nah, they should be fine! All you have to do is hone them out for bigger valves, bore out the bolt holes, and pray! A lot. The 305 was yet another emissions engine. Why did the US have to make so many d@mn emissions laws? Couldnt an unleaded 350 with cats be enough? nooo, got to be cleaner.....

In reallity I don't think the 305 had any less pollution than a 350. I have heard of using 305 heads on a 350 in dirt racing applications but never a street or drag application.
