    Mustang T-5 trans to a flathead

    Real nice work! Hot roddin' at its finest.

    I ran around with a buddy in the late 50's who would only drive a '49 or '50 Ford. He went through a bunch of 'em. He had a bad temper and when mad, would sucker-punch the driver's side window. I think we depleted the supply of windows from every boneyard in the area

    Yeah, I know what you mean. I did the same thing with transmissions. Went through 14 of them and two axels. Never did break a rearend though. Got so my brother and I could change a trans in about 45 minutes and that was laying under the car in the street. Tran's were cheap in 1955. About $35 from the local junk yards and that was with overdrive.

    great build up pics. i have a 50 ford project im gonna start as soon as i finish a nother side job im doing. how was the jamco swap? do you know what kind of spindles were used?like what they were for origanally. i looking into the same but i`ma build my own with s10 bal joints and maybe areosatar spindles. maybe. cant really aford the 900 bones for them to do it. anyway just wanted to say great lookin car.
