Flathead4d - is there a forum for 54+ flatties? I have a Cheiftain; looking for some info and advice.

My GM manual says to set them at .012-.014 cold, then warm up the engine and set them again with it running. Lots of luck not burning yourself fooling around behind the hot exhaust manifold.
Is your Poncho a sedan or hardtop? Love '54 GM's!
