nope i haven't checked the hoses, choke is not hooked up and is just set wide open which is fine here in california, its nice and hot out.... holds fuel pressure when i shut it offjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

i checked the float bowl.... it was really really low, only about a third of the way up to the little sight hole.... i'm gonna adjust the float, but i gotta get to work for now.... told them to call me when some work comes in.... its no fun being paid flag when theres no work for you to do....just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

i decided to drive her down to work today and racked her up when it slowed down.... pulled the carb off and pulled it apart.... the float needle was gummed up and not opening too well, so i cleaned it all up.... adjusted the float level a little bit and now she runs like a champ....just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
