Not a typo

I have a need for an oversize lifter that is no longer available from the factory and not in GM's stock in three continents

I have been told a possibilty is a Ford small block lifter, turned or ground to the correct size.

Info on the Ford Small Block hydrauilc lifter is apprciated. I need a diameter of .853" (stock is .842") and I am told that a FSB lifter is in the vicinity of .875". A club member of mine has told me this is possible, and he's done it.

A Technical drawing of the lifter would be ideal, but any info is apprciated
