Mopar Tips
Hey ya,
I got me a '67 barracuda that came stock with 273 2bbl. There's a '73 318 in there now. Looks like the engine and heads were rebuilt recently before it sat in dry storage for 12 years.
I took it out last summer, fixed the gas tank, radiator, and water pump. New exhaust and front (www.PST.com) suspension, shocks, tires. I'm gonna keep the 318 in there for now. I got a Edlebrock performer intake and a janky 650 Holley. The kickdown insn't hooked up!
The engine runs great for only hitting on seven cylinders. I just dropped it off to get a diagnostics. I bet its a collapsed lifter.
But anyway, will putting a 8 3/4 sure-grip with bigger gears make my car "feel" stronger?
And from here in the Ozarks a Happy 4th of July
