There is a lot of hate toward accel products, but for the street, if it's working then it's probably fine.

I once replaced an accel dizzy on the prejudiced opinion of a local mechanic and it wasn't at all the problem. (Problem was a combination of stall speed, manifold, and carb size.)

Personally I like to keep an extra dizzy module in the glove box, regardless of what brand name the dizzy has.
