Also, I notice that it bogs down at lower RPM's, this could be partly because it doesnt have the second arm. Do you thin kit could be as a result of the accelerator pump size?

Unless a race application 50 cc pumps are not needed IMHO. If you had the best guy in your area rebuild the carb, I'd say he leaves a lot to be desired. If your spark plug wires say "Accell Super Stock" they are TOTAL junk and need to be replaced, I'd suggest Taylor spiral core.
