    if it is bad as you say and i know they can be.. put a new anti siphon valve in.. they catch hell and get pluged up as well. sea ray 268 at one time on them boats all carpet work was done and guy did not put senders in the tanks or were open or not sealed or some one was putting carpet fuzz in the tank did many. antisiphon valve on most all boat s it,s right on the tank and is a coast guard UL deal so it has one if not it better when you are done
