Before you spend a lot of time looking for used 390 rods, then spend money having them checked for cracks, new rod bolts, and resized, you might want to consider a set of aftermarket rods for the engine..... the cheap one's are imports, but a lot of guys use them and say they're fine in a mild street engine????? Just a another thing to consider....

Thanks, I may want to tow a small trailer. As I said previously I inherited this engine, and now I am wondering what else may be wrong with it. I may look into the cost of buying a refurbished engine and do away with this whole headache.
