    Yup, helped a friend do the same swap on an '80 Bird. When you get into the wiring you'll find the battery and alternator are on the wrong side, too. The battery tray can be moved to the other side on the radiator support, the bolt holes are already there. On Bill's Bird I just extended the wiring harness for the alternator.
