Falcon gets Intercooler
Well guys. I put this in when I was trying to figure out what retainers to use with the 302 intake valves, for the 200 I6 heads ( which I did figure out, factory 302 2 peice intake retainers, but use the 200 I6 center section, they fit perfect in the 302 retainers, and allow the use of the 5/16" valve stem. ) anyway, this is 1 of the $50 Ebay specials, but it's supprisingly, good construction. the welds aren't a row of quarters, but there not sloppy ither. mine came scratched on the end tanks a bit and had a "JDM Sport" tag on the top, but there was an easy fix to that, flip it upside down and backwards, tanks were less scratched on that side, and the tag is not visible. also the pipe outlets work better in that position. mounted with angle iron, 3/8" bolts with nylocks, and it's spaced from the "wall" about 1" on top and 1/2" on the bottom ( to clear valance ) with some spacers I cut out of some aluminum tubing. The hood latch and hood latch support, will not fit in, so the hood will be closed with factory correct hood pins that were used on Mustangs and Fairlaines. Ford Racing markets them as reproductions and summit has them for $22 somthing. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
