Where are you at, there is a very complete 5.7 diesel pick-up here at my local pick-n-pull in Moss Landing, California. I should pull the VIN off that truck and put it on mine so I don't have to smog anymore. Someone has probably already done it.

Oh, Deleware, that could be a problem... for you.

A little off the subject, but how far back in model years does California go for a car to have to have the emissions test? For instance in New York any car now model year 1981 or older does not have to test or even have to have emissions equipment present, which is nice for the classic hot-rodder.

74 and older dont have to smog.... and the vehicle doesn't have to have up to date smog equipment, it must have the factory equipment all present though, if it fails visual inspection then it instantly fails smog.....
