Matt, you need to do a little more study, flatheads always had two barrel carbs.
Guess I got messed up with what is stock and what was done aftermarket, never saw or heard much about stock flathead V8's, always see them with multiple carb setups. I know the hot setup on a flathead is at least 3 strombergs or holley 94's, maby that is where I got the 1bbl thing from and adapted that to being the way it was stock. Flathead V8'snever used 3 bolt carbs then? Thanks for correcting me.
