Re: I Got A Holley, What Kind ?
Are you shure it is not a 1bbl Holley 94? they did not use 2bbl's stock on flatheads. Is it a 3 bolt carb? if it is, it is ither the Holley 94 or the Stromberg 97Originally posted by merc53man

Look at the bottom half of the list, looks to be right for the application you have.
Matt, you need to do a little more study, flatheads always had two barrel carbs.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Guess I got messed up with what is stock and what was done aftermarket, never saw or heard much about stock flathead V8's, always see them with multiple carb setups. I know the hot setup on a flathead is at least 3 strombergs or holley 94's, maby that is where I got the 1bbl thing from and adapted that to being the way it was stock. Flathead V8'snever used 3 bolt carbs then? Thanks for correcting me.Originally posted by Bob Parmenter

Yes, they were 3 bolt. BTW, for a mostly stock to mildly hopped flattie, two carbs are better than three, and in reality a 390 cfm four barrel is even better.............just not as sexy.Originally posted by Matt167
