That is actually a great idea Mike,i will try that, might give me an idea of where i am without spending money on unneeded parts. And besides if i put a hole in a piston i can always blame you guys lol
its not gonna burn a hole in a piston from a dead stand still. you'er forgetting i burnt up a lot of pistons so i know what you can and cant do. the first blower i had was a 4-71 on a stock motor with 7 lbs. of boost, it had 1- 750 holly with no jets in the rear and 92 jets in the front, stock cam, 71/2 pistons. i went to the drags every week with it, and that was all the carb. i needed. i dont care what type cam, pistons, or heads you have when and if you get the right fuel and ign its gonna go. the leaner it is the faster it goes until you do burn a hole in a piston. to much fuel is the only thing that i saw would slow it down. because its got a blower dont mean its need a lot more fuel, that would depend on the motor, so it looks like if the blow is giving you 30% more power you would need 30% more fuel. 2 600 is a lot of fuel for a stock motor. how much boost are you running? i hope you have sense enough not to run through the 1/4 mile with the one carb. im talking trying from a dead stand still just to see if it helps the stumble or not. its not gonna hurt it unless you get into the higher rpms and you'll know right away.
