well i went down to my dads farm to pick up my 455 motor for my t bucket. its in a 72 olds 88 and the car was parked outdoors for approx 4 years. i didnt prep the engine for storage when i parked it and now the engine was locked.
pulled the pugs filled with diesl fuel and was able to budge the motor a little bit after that approx 15 degrees but then solid
decided to put the plugs back in and filled the whole motor and pan full of diesl to the brim and will wait a couple of weeks and will see what happens.
how badly can cyl walls be damaged by freeing a storage locked motor would rings be seized in the pistons etc will the unit pump oil now.
anybody else have this kind if fun before.
i probably could have avoided this by glugging a gallon of diesl down the carb when i parked the darned thing in the first place.
