as the car is a fwd and the engine is going into a t bucket style frame all i have to figure out is engine mounts nothing the welder cant buzz up . the cars a pretty nice unit to strip down , ill get a good buck for the hulk though. looks like it will weigh a couple tons.
anyone know what kind of stock hp this engine puts out, i would guess 300 or 350 with gobs of torque.
i am going to have fun with this!!!!!!!!!
Man that's a great score. With the Eldorado you get the rear sump pan which is the one everyone wants for swaps. If you already have the turbo 400 you should be good to go. Be sure and check in over at the forum I linked to before. Those guys can give you all kind advice on the big Cad, but it should be pretty simple swap going into a bucket. My guess is you will be able to scare yourself real good with that thing in stock trim.

Keep us posted on your project.
