From personal experience many years back, I'd like to suggest you find yourself a cheap daily driver to keep in reserve for getting to work.... Nothing worse then kickin' the rods (or other such malady) out of your daily driver when playing at the track, then having to look for other means to get to work on Monday...... Don't ask me how I learned this lesson!!!!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!

I am sure you know this already. But you are going to lose some gas mileage with the gear change.Might be interesting if you post that for others to read after you have it back together. For me I try to be mindful about threads that I am writing for a archive.
    Good Bye

With a crew like your wonderful wife behind you there are no limits!!!

By the way, I drive a $1,000 go-cart to work and cruise on the weekends in the elky, but it helps to keep the bills inline!
...at least I'm enjoying the ride!
