    Ohhh!
I been practicing with Need For Speed Pro Street. Not the same thing though. Ok, now I just gotta find a free one of those on account of I bought a brake line lock today and I'm skint now. I found an online one and my reaction time really sucks. That cat flushing the toilet in 3 word story has a faster reaction time. Well, even so I need to practice with the car. At least it's what the speed shop guy said. Mrs GW said to throw out the radio again.

I just found out today that the race track I was near and dear to was closed in November last year. Kansas City Int Raceway was forcibly taken over by the city and will be made into a drug dealing park. I can't stop bawling my eyes out I'm so ashamed. Everything I was working for, fixing up the car, My hopes, my dreams, gone. This whole thread, all the money I spent, Worthless. You would not believe how bad I feel right now. It's like hearing the Christmas has been cancelled. Your best dog has been run over, your wife's leaving you. We may not have been fast, we may not have broken any records, but we had the time of our lives. We have memories. The overpriced hotdogs Mrs GW bought for me just so I'd have the best of times, the great advice for launching, the nice folks we met, gone. All because some corrupt Kansas City politicians want to raise the property values for some dumb ass constituents who didn't like the noise after they built houses around the track there since 1967. I hate them with a perfect hate. I only he they feel the same loss and disappointment that I feel right now,. I hope they die and smoke a turd in Hell. May God,s curses be upon them and their children's, children. I'm so sick of having every dream pissed on by some satanic jackass who knows what's good for me. Drag racing is good for me and if i have to do it on their front lawns that's just fine with me.

    KCIR, rest in peace.
But no peace for the bastards who killed you.

    Thanks Gary,
I guess we'll hafta find another drag strip. It's all I can think of right now. I think Topeka has built a dirt circle track on the drag strip but I'll find out.
I don't think there's one near us now.
God, i just can't stop crying over this.

Yrs ago Niagara raceway park closed. We all thought that was the end of 1/4 racing in our area.We still had Lancaster Speedway which is 1/8 mile. But other people saw what was a really bad thing as a opportunity and opened more tracks.Hang in there. It will be OK.
    Good Bye

So far i been peeking at your links but haven't found anything I can put the car in but I guess I'm just too upset to think rationally right now. I sure appreciate your help though. I just can't bear thinking that there's nothing we can got to this year. I still can't believe it, it's like some kind of bizarre nightmare.

I'm sorry if I seem severe. But I was really looking forward to another year of drag fun. And I must admit I'm really distraught. Everything shattered, broken... Bastards!

Yeah, but the last time I saw it it had a dirt track piled right on top of the drag strip.. What's more there doesn't seem to be a place for my hoop-tie. Man, just can't believe what happened. I saw videos of the track mowed down. I'm in shock, no kidding...
