Hey Ken,
Nice to see you got to ride that rocket.
I remember working your shop when Mooneyham's car came in.
Remember me? Drove gray primered 75 Trans Am everyday to work from valley all way to Orange, fun trip with my proudly worked 428 block underhood. (it lasted over 20 years by the way, with compression over 149. Guess I did ok)
Was honor to do some work on car 554. Shame I didn't know it's history at the time... which I am well aware of now. (I have a Hot Wheels car of it now ha ha)
And you blew out the blue grill glass I racked my brain shaping for a better fit ha ha. (I blew the 428 around 8000 rpm between 1st& 2nd as why I built the previous owners... a lot less quiet I'm sure than that Hemi blowing!) Glad you ok though.
Found this blog by researching the car on line.... hope your doing well.... and thank you again for your trust as I cut off those quarter panels of 554, and formed new ones. Proud moment.
Best to all your racing days...

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
