The rods that came out, also took out the last 4 lifter bores and the last two cam journals. It will take some major work to get it back together.

The new engine will be more taylored to the car, so it should run much better.

We are switching over from MT 10.5W to the new Hoosier 10.5W. The results so far from people running those tires is outstanding. I have been getting about 10 passes out of the MT's. I got a call from a friend that is testing down in Florida, and when he called, he was on his 34th pass and they are still hooking great!

We are also replacing the fenders, doors, hood, and trunk with fiberglass parts. It should shave roughly 250 to 300lbs off the weight of the car. That should put us very close to 3100lbs.
