I'd just dump it into drive and stand on it. It's an automatic, it was made to shift on it's own. You don't need to shift it, if u want to shift a tranny, go get a standard or a different valve body. You'll run the most consistant times when u try to push the throttle through the floor and let the tranny do its job.
