Re the seat,
1st off using a late model seat in a 67/72 gives 4 more inch's of legroom.
2nd it was already in the truck.
3rd after the interior is redone you'll never know it a late model seat.
Regarding (as you say flippin them) I do the work on them as if I was going to own it for a long time,
I don't waste a lot of time talkin about what I'm going to do I just do it.
And lastly I price my stuff to sell, not over price em as most do.
It's a simple equation sell 10 to 15 a year @ 20/25% margin or sell 1 or 2 @ 60% a year. Do the math.
That and the buyer is tickled cause he bought a nice vehicle for 10/15% under market.
I make my money the day I buy the car. It's just good business.
Also I'm capable of doin it all myself except upholstery and have a trim guy who says I'm his best customer, so he takes real good care of me $$ wise and quality wise.
Retirement is great.
I don't know where else I could make over 10K for workin less than 60 HRs do you?Last edited by DA34GUY; 07-15-2015 at 04:49 PM.
