That is one beautiful Vicky so what are the plans and, and will this one be a keeper? Yes I know you get the thrill in doing them to your taste and then driving them and if someone offers the right amount,it is moved on,but heck, that is a gorgeous car and absolutely lovely, the flatty, the stance, everything is perfect to me.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Gonna be drivin this 1 to the Tampa Flordia NSRA Nats in October (1300 miles 1 way)
The Flattie runs & runs & runs & runs.
Built to the hilt. 296 cu in with all the good stuff in it.
Syraight pipes and sounds AWESUM.
Got a C-4 behind it goin to a 9" with 3:25 gears.
Runs as good as any SBC I've had.
Did I mention, that it runs real good.
Yep, it won't bother me if I have to fly home from Tampa. When I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

With my spare garage I could most likely find some room for that too. I tried to find an 'A' version before my roadster body "appeared"Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Heck I think it is time we changed your name from DA34Guy to DA32Guy or you may have to explain what your computer name means to us. With the straight pipes, does the car drone or at a certain speed the exhaust note is acceptable?I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

There is no drone @ any speed with the straight pipes and ya can really hear the 400JR cam
RE: The handle,Got the nickname DA34GUY years ago when I owned 15 33-34 Fords and who knows how many parts, kinda stuck with me into the age of computers,
Started doin 32's after I sold my shop (Hot Rod) a few years ago.
Have built, sold swapped, wheel and dealed over 50 since.
And YES THIS 1 IS 4 SALE.
Fresh car with 1800 miles on it.
Will be more after I DTPOOI for a while. When I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

Whiplash, not sure how you knew it had straight pipes from those pictures?? Maybe my old eyes are getting worse than I thought!
So where'd (area of the country) the Vicky come from, Don? Is it metal or glass? Regardless it looks like a sweet ride for Tampa!Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Roger,Don mentioned the straight pipes in the description and I have always wonder how loud cars with no mufflers would be to drive,so now I know a nicely build flatty sounds awesome. Thanks for the explanation too Don on your name and by the sound of it, you have ex-large fuel fuel lines pumping that blood around your body.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
