Building my own top
Would like to see some pics of your deuce top mounting, windshield header, any picture of the bows, so i can get a idea on building the top. Advance would be great also and if you have a Dick Roddwell winshield that would be even better. Thanks DennieSometime Kool is the Rule But Bad is Bad

This may help you, I made my roadster top frame but used bows from LeBarron Bonney, the bows are very good.
Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

I originally built a "Carson" top framework for mine but ended up using a complete framework as well as bows, again, from LeBaron-Bonney. The quality is very nice even without using their stainless irons. Unfortunately, I can't find any of my assembly photos - I didn't take many as my upholsterer was waiting.
This is the "Carson" framework as it was being built:

And this is the 'final Lebaron-Bonney with custom fabric. I need to add the decorative 'hidem' across the front this winter.

on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
