I built a wescott coupe and have no complaints at all. I wanted the cowl vent and door hinges plus the roll down rear window. It is a first class body right out of the mold. Yeah they are high $$ but its all in what you want. If I ever build another 32 coupe I will look very serious at a brookville chopped and filled roof from Waldens, but its back to that $$$ thing again. There are a lot of bodys on the market. Do a lot of looking and asking questions. Right now you can buy cheaper than building if you can find something close to what you want. Oh yeah I have a friend that has a gibbons that came from south carolina, saying that he had problems with it is being kind. After splitting the floor to even get it on the frame you get the idea, ITS JUNK............

My friend sent Gibbon 5 grand for a 34 3 window body and got nothing. I think he is out the money.

Has anyone seen a Redneck body lately? I was checking that out, about $12+, but the stock height looks different.

Redneck's '32 body is not chopped so that's why it looks different.

Redneck custom fabricates to your order on the '32 coupe, "Our 32 Ford kit cars are all built to your specifications. When you purchase one from Redneck you'll receive standard features most competitors don't offer. Build your own 32 Ford Coupe with a custom chopped (1"-3" or more) or angled top." Like Lynn says, their promo shots are often stock roof height. I recall talking to a guy at GGNW Nat's in Pleasanton about his nice looking car and that his car was a Redneck body, but I cannot recall which car it was out of the 200+ pictures I took When I was looking I could not see paying 2X for their body, but they do make a good product that holds up well over time.

Call Brookeville and ask their back log on coupes.
Yep they are still sellin and they ain't gonna budge off the price unless yer a dealer, which ain't a lot.
If yer budget is gettin in a squeeze now and haven't even started, your in for a rude awakening.
Build it on paper, and 25-30%
    Ya might get close.
Have built too many for guys who think ya can do it for XXXXXX amount and when it's done it's XXXXXXX amount +++++
When I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

It's too bad, because he has good ideas. If Dwight is running the operation, things will probably improve, but when you are shelling out that much money, it is going to be tough not to be gun-shy regarding the Gibbon name.

Do you realize that you and Scott are replying to a thread that's 2½ years old?

BTW, yes, Duane at N&N is a very nice guy and if he took you to lunch, you probably had one of the best hamburgers ever made....the homemade pies were delicious too!!

thanks, 1bad32, for all the info you have given about N&N products on this board the last few years. Because of this I have a 32 body and chassis and a 34 body ordered with him and will be picking it up in the next couple months and hope to be a successful dealer and building lots of cars using N&N products in Florida.

In Daytona Beach area. Port Orange is the city, bordering on Daytona's south side.
