Well Pat, you've still got a few more hours, just over $20k so far;http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT
Those rear fenders are pretty roached, but a decent pair go for at least $2500 so they're definitely worth repairing. I've had some of those EMS patch pieces before, and I generally like their stuff, but those need to be sectioned a fair bit to fit, they're oversized for the actual fender.

I'm kind of surprised the money this one is pulling in today's economy, must be because it's pretty intact by eastern US standards. I know of a local one that sold less than a year ago for just a few dollars more and had good paint, upholstery, and chrome. Didn't need body or rust repair, and already had hydraulic brakes. Basically a good turn key car. Hard to figure sometimes.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

well he should be happy with that? i would its about 15000. more then i would give if i had the money to throw out there i work on them fenders .a customer of mine had one with a hot sbc in it. got his foot jam under the gas and brake? shot the car thru is block garage took the grill out and the front fender look like a mud flap but it was rust free but had the stander cracks from the lip and wire was loose but better then what i could find so i bump out the fender to the point were no filler was needed so them fenders do not look to bad
