I have been provided with alot of info on Ford 9". Thanks. I am now looking for a 9" from a 66-77 Ford Bronco 58" wide or 77-81 Granada/Versailles 58 1/2" wide. Next I plan to get a conversion kit to use Ford Explorer disc brakes. Then for a good highway gear maybe a 2.75 ratio.

    1) What Fords commonly have a posi/limited slip rear end?
    2) What rear end ratio is commonly used in a Ford Explorer?

the grenada/versaille rear probably would have excellent chance of being a limited slip, disc brake with paRKING BRAKE AND A 2xx gear ratio

and the 5 on 4 1/2 bolt circle---the bronco probably will be 5 on 5 1/2 bolt circle and ration high 3xx or 4 xx
