The 25 vent was released on August the 18th, 1932 by Ford Motor Company. It was to be used on V8 equipped vehicles ggoing to warm climates ... to help eliminate the flathead overheating problems. The 25 vent lowers the under hood ambient temperature by as much as 40 degrees.

The Pines Winter front is much more rare ... and was designed to close up the radiator and help keep the engine HOT and not freezing up ...
a way different purpose than the 25 vent hood.
The most I have seen a 25 vent hood bring was 6 grand on eBay a few months back ... where I have turned down considerably more than that for a Pines Winter Front ...Going 33 and 1/3 rpms in a IPOD world
