I had a chrome version on my 'bucket but that was very poor quality chrome so I had them Jet Hot coated and that was still on them 4-5 years later and still nice. The new owner did replace them though as one tube split about a foot long.

My current project car has the FF1 Ford block huggers and they fit nicely. I did purchase them without coating and glad I did - the insides had some significant obstructions where the 4 pipes met to go into the collector as well as many 1" pieces of mig wire ends stuck to the surface. It took me 6-8 hours and a couple of long burrs to clean them up then they were Jet Hot coated.

The nasty lady? She's the owner!!!
