No, the Jaysters are just a second type they now carry. Limefires are still available. I have two sets, one on my '23 and one on my '27. The ones on the '27 are 20 years old and still presentable. I drove the car daily for 7 years and it has sat in the rain many a day, still the headers have no rust.
If you are getting discoloration Mick, you have something else going on. Maybe too high an exhaust temp from a too lean or too rich condition. My first set was Jet Hot coated, and the new ones are now done in-house by Sanderson. Both are superb.
As Stu Cool said, the service has been great. Nick and Jay have gone out of their way to build exactly what we wanted and get them out the door quickly. My Son Dan had them make up a set of Jaysters to his specs for his 455 Olds, and they came out perfect.
Conversely, my Son Don went to Patriot and bought a set of their Lake style headers ( I have NO idea why) and they are horrible. We had to spend hours grinding the mounting holes to get them to even bolt up to the heads. Some holes were off by 1/2 inch or more.
We finally got them on, but they leak badly out of the flanges and we have tried every high perfomance no leak gasket on the market.
Sanderson is number one in my book. Here are the ones I have on my '23 and an old picture of my '27. They were about 12 years old when this picture was taken. I am also posting a picture of Dan's Jaysters.
