I live here in Ventura,I just went down and watched em all leave the fair grounds from the beach parking lot!That place is like 3 miles away from me.
Looked like a pretty good turn out.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

I was there from 6 to 8 am. They wouldn't let me in cuz I was gonna leave early. Parked outside the gates and hitched a ride in a 66' Rancho Gasser. Made a pass, to look at the cars, then went home.

You guys are good. Yes- this was the Ventura show, I think it's called Back to the beach? Not a big turn-out, we didn't get there until 10am as spectators. Left about 1. Met some friends there, it's a good 2 hour drive for us in the gas pig Suburban.
I will say I talked to alot of people, shiny paint or not & everyone was as friendly as can be. I'd walk up and ask a question about their car & they'd be all smiles talking about their car. They had some very cool trophys- small vintage looking surfboards, every one of them were different.
Yes- that gold 32 was all built by Jimmy Shine. The paint is absolutely beautiful. Pics don't do the car justice.
