    It's not a wood looking grille. It's a vintage aftermarket grille. The vertical bars (that open & close) are brass- or looked brass to me. Maybe the pic made it look like wood. A friend of the owner of the car said they were in the process of restoring it.
    These things go for big bucks. I saw 2 of these grilles at this show- the other one was probably worth more than the car it was attached to. I've heard stories of these things in great condition fetching over 2 grand!

    Here's another one- with the slats painted red I found w/ a serarch.


    What's the tiki scene? People that are as nutz about all things tiki as we are about 32's.
