I unexpectidly tested this theory, the long U bolt on the newly installed rear leaf spring when the shackle moved put that bolt right into the metal flex line for the rear brake was sheared off, and when I got off the freeway I only had the front brakes of the dual master working and I needed all the pedal I had. Got me home and stopped safely. Ed ke6bnl
